Bereavement Programs Upcoming:
Grief in our society is often suppressed and can lead to break downs in physical and emotional health. One way this can be avoided by working with a therapist or a grief support group to help heal the losses from the past.
Grieving people need: empathy, to be with somebody who understands their pain, and community support and education that grief is a healthy response to loss.
Bereavement Support Groups May Help You:
· Understand responses to grief
· Become aware of the phases of grief
· Learn steps to help move through the steps
· Learn how to move out of the crisis mode
