Walsh, Doreen Melissa 1930-2012

The family is saddened to announce the peaceful passing of their mother Doreen on January 31, 2012 at St. Joseph’s hospital in her 82nd year.  Loving wife of the late Roy Walsh.  Caring mother of Lynda (Dave) Dupchak, Susan (Jim) Greenaway, Donna (the late Denis) Hick, Eva (Rick) Walsh-Naylor, Brenda (Jamie) Jordan, Michael (Linda) and Tammy (the late Billy) Walsh-Watson.  She is survived by 22 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.  She will also be missed by her relatives and friends.  The family wishes to thank the doctors, nurses and staff at St. Joseph’s Hospital – ALC Unit for their care and compassion during this difficult journey.  Visitation at BAY GARDENS FUNERAL HOME – “William J. Markey Chapel”, 947 Rymal Rd E, HAMILTON (905.574.0405) on Sunday, February 5, 2012 from 5 to 9 pm
and Monday, February 6, 2012 from 12 to 1 pm.  A Celebration of Doreen’s life will be held in the chapel at 1 pm.  Interment to follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Hamilton.  Donations may be made to St. Joseph’s Hospital – Mental Health Awareness.  Please sign the online Book of Condolences
