Antici, Gladys Lila 1931-2009

Peacefully, on Tuesday, November 24, 2009 at the age of 78. Loving mother of Tim (Jane), Kathy (Jason), Valerie (Rob), Kimberley (Michael) and Neil (Sonia). Cherished grandma of Colin, Tim, David, Betty and Liam. Dear sister of Ted (Josephine) Hack, Thelma and the late Bob Gromoll. Predeceased by her husband Nello and siblings Doug, Frieda and Irene. Special thanks to the staff of Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital for their dignified, compassionate care. Gladys loved life and her family with her whole, spirited heart. She was a fabulous cook who loved a fancy party, a talented dancer with Forever Young and a heck of a good golfer. We’re comforted now by vivid, happy memories of Glady in her high heels and jewellery, dashing off in her convertible Mercedes with the top down! Please join us for visitation at BAY GARDENS FUNERAL HOME, 1010 Botanical Drive (across from Bayview Cemetery, Crematorium & Mausoleum) BURLINGTON (905-574-0405) on Saturday, November 28, 2009 from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. followed by a celebration of her life.
