Addison, Queenie 1913-2009

It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of our precious Mum, on Friday January 16, 2009, three weeks after her 95th birthday. Beloved wife of the late Wilfred Addison. Cherished mother of Clifford & Marilyn, Peter & Barbara, Christopher & Debbie, Cheryl & Terry Peters & Michael (predeceased). Loving grandmother & Gogie to Kelly, Nancy & Keith, Kim, Wendy & Tom, Jamie & Christine, Cory, Alison & Michael. Predeceased by her precious grandson Stephen & his wife Marianne.Treasured great grandmother to Laura, Rachel, Mitchell, Nicole, Kody, Nicole, Katie, Alex, Jack & Emma. Dear friend to Jack and Esther Peters.Mum was retired from The Province Of Ontario Savings Office. She loved Jesus and was a faithful member of the Hamilton Mountain Seventh Day Adventist Church. Donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family. Visitation at BAY GARDENS FUNERAL HOME, 947 Rymal Road East ( between Upper Gage and Upper Ottawa) Hamilton (905 574 0405) on Tuesday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday January 21, 2009 at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow. Our kind and gentle Mum has passed on and we will always miss her. Mum, you left us a legacy of love and kindness. If the value of life can be measured in lives touched and memories left behind, you were wealthy beyond compare. We will continue to live by your example and hold you in our hearts.
