Visitation
Bay Gardens staff will arrange the visitation rooms according to the family’s desired services. A funeral director, receptionist and assistants will be there to supervise the visiting hours. They will also assist as required with Rosary, Prayer, Fraternal or Lodge services. From traditional prayers to a more lively celebration of life our professional staff can assist and direct where needed.
One of the unique offerings we provide for families are quiet rooms during visitation and services. Sometimes visitation or large services can be emotionally overwhelming. For this reason, you are able to retreat to a well-designed room for a moment to yourself with beautiful fabrics, a mirror for touch ups, spiritual books, paper and pen, and more.
It is much more common to see children attend services today then in years gone by. Bay Gardens offers special spaces for children with toys and videos to keep them amused. The two-story waterfall in the entrance of our facilities is usually the most attractive option that captures the attention of both adults and children alike. If you are looking for resources on grief for children please visit our grief resources where you will find resources on grief created specifically for children.
Some families chose to dine together between visitation hours. We are happy to meet any of the needs your family has during these times.
Lounge facilities for family guests are also provided during visiting hours. Popular visiting hours are 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m.
