While there are many providers who offer “basic cremation” services to the public, Bayview is the only service with our own crematorium allowing you to You alleviate the stress, confusion and extra cost of the ‘middle man’, ie. a basic provider or transfer service.

Bayview Crematory offers 24 hour service 7 days a week.  You can either arrange a cremation at the time of need or in advance following these simple steps.

Witnessing of cremation
In many cultures and religions witnessing the cremation is an integral part of the ritual associated with a death.  It is a common request for a family to at least initiate the process or witness the process being initiated. Identification
Depending on the circumstances being able to see a loved one after the point of death is critical for emotional closure and to help the grieving process.  Having a moment to say goodbye to your loved one may be an important part of your process if you are not having a funeral or memorial service.  Simply contact us either by email, phone or by visiting our offices if this is something you would like to discuss or learn more about.

Memorial Service or Funeral Service
Built in the early 1920’s, Bayview Mausoleum is a building of historical significance and has been written about in several academic journals.  Bayview Crematorium and Bayview Mausoleum are housed on the same property providing multiple choices should you decide you would like a funeral or memorial service—from the basic to the elaborate.  Chapel rental is very common for families choosing cremation.   When you arrange your cremation through Bayview you and your loved ones also have the option of holding an anniversary memorial service free of charge should you wish to at the 1 year anniversary mark.
