Mausoleum Provider Checklist

  • Is the staff able to communicate with me in my preferred language?
  • Is the pricing fair and market standard?
  • Is perpetual lighting included?  Is there a time limit on the inclusion of this lighting?
  • Can I place fresh flowers in the mausoleum?
  • When I place flowers, are they removed within 24 hours?
  • Can I bring a special object to be placed with my loved one?
  • Are there memorial masses or seasonal events I can attend?
  • Can I customize my memorial plaque?
  • Is bereavement counselling available? Are these services free of charge?
  • Does the mausoleum or cemetery offer an "after-care" service to help with administrative details such as filling out government and legal forms?
  • Is there a chapel on the premises?
  • Can my family use this chapel free of charge for the Committal Rites or a Memorial Service?
  • Can I make a payment plan?
