Caskets

As with most other items to do with Funerals caskets come in varying price ranges, options, colours, and materials. There are a wide variety of caskets available for both Burial and Cremation. Prices can start as low as $625.00 for solid wood caskets.  This casket is considered a basic cremation casket and would typically be used when a direct transfer from the hospital to funeral home with little in the way of funeral services or memorial options taking place.

Rental caskets are a popular choice when cremation is the choice of disposition. This allows a presentable container for viewing with what is called an ‘insert’ lining the inner part of the casket.

Caskets for burial, or entombment in a Mausoleum can start as low as $1200.00 and go as high as $25,000.00. These caskets can be comprised of Polar, Ash, Oak, Pine, Cherry, Steel or Precious Metals. Often we see wood caskets chosen for Cremation and Metal or Steel caskets being the choice where entombment in a Mausoleum is the choice for final disposition. However, many people also choose wood caskets when being placed in a crypt. The choice is entirely personal.
